

Humans rely on sieges, infantry, tanks, overwhelming firepower (AKA guns, missiles, sonic electronic ball breakers, smart guns, M41A pulse rifle.

Not quite the same level of squad-based gameplay, but the predators rely on heavy infantry, advance technology, stealth, scouts, drones, and visceral weapons (Low numbers, high skill). Look at Starcraft as well, the Xenomorphs are like the Zerg, humans are the Terrans, Predators are like the Protoss. Xenomorphs act like Tyrannids, humans act like Imperial Guard, and Predators act like Space Marines. So if you take that format, and apply it to an AvP game, you could have a decent game. You could easily adapt Helldivers into an RTS like DOWII.

And pretty much most squad-focused strategy games. Look at Dawn of War II, Helldivers (Admittedly a top-down shooter). Doesn't matter, you can still make a solid RTS with that.
